From occupancy to intent: reading workspace demand carefully

Occupancy tells you what happened. Event journeys can reveal the intent and friction around it.

Occupancy is an outcome. On its own, it cannot explain whether a quiet floor reflects low demand, poor discoverability, access failures or a mismatch between available spaces and the work people intended to do.

Workspace app events add the sequence around that outcome. Search refinements can suggest unmet preferences. Repeated booking attempts can expose confusing availability. Cancellations close to arrival may point to changing plans, while a high no-show rate might indicate weak release habits or unreliable check-in.

Interpret these patterns as prompts for investigation rather than automatic conclusions. Combine event journeys with operational context, qualitative feedback and clear definitions before changing policy or space.
